L.A. Louver in Venice, California is hosting an exhibition “Roll Call” that will be on view through January 14, 2017.Curated by Gajin Fujita, the exhibition brings together the works of 11 artists from Los Angeles. “Roll Call” refers to tagging all of the names of a graffiti crew who work together to make a piece. Fujita’s inspiration for both the show and its title is in this same spirit, recognizes individual contributors that created an overall picture, encompassing the vision of Los Angeles. The featured artists in the show are Chaz Bojorquez, David Cavazos (Big Sleeps), Fabian Debora, Ricardo Estrada, Alex Kizu (Defer), Patrick Martinez, Retna, Jose Reza (Prime), Jesse Simon, Slick, and Gajin Fujita himself.The exhibition is on view at L.A.
