Kunsthalle Zurich, Zurich, presents the exhibition of works by American conceptual artist Cheryl Donegan, from August 26, 2017 to November 19, 2017.The exhibition showcases a wide array of Cheryl Donegan’s works from throughout her career. The presentation, which is the first comprehensive display of the artist’s works in Europe, investigates the idea of painting, at first seemingly backwards. The exhibited pieces also include paintings and sculptures from one her recent exhibitions entitled “Scenes and Commercials” in which the artist employed her body as an apparatus to parody the conventions of commercials and music videos.The viewers are left with a fascinating experience as they explore the challenging relationship between thinking and realizing.The exhibition is on view at Kunsthalle Zürich, Limmatstrasse 270, CH-8005 Zürich, Switzerland.
