Hajime Sorayama’s new paintings are on view at an exhibition being hosted by the Jacob Lewis Gallery, New York, from October 28 through December 17, 2016.Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama is best known for his 'Sexy Robots' form. The new body of work continues the cult tradition of Sorayama’s 'Sexy Robots' with a Hollywood spin. The artworks in this exhibition demonstrates superrealistic artistic approach where Hollywood supermodel Kate Moss is depicted as bionic Playboy bunny, Snow White’s queen is portrayed as a dominatrix and the artist gave Elvis Presley a figure of laser emitting radio transmitter. Being a cult figure in art world since the early 70’s, Sorayama’s influence of work cut across new boundaries of Japan's underground art scene and inspired.
