Jeu de Paume, Paris, is hosting an exhibition of the works of Sabine Weisss. The event will run through October 30, 2016.Weiss is the last representative of the French humanist school, which brings together photographers such as Robert Doisneau, Willy Ronis, Edward Boubat, Brassaï and Izis. For the first time, Weiss agreed to open her personal archives and give testimony on her life as a photographer. The exhibition presents milestones in her long career. Through nearly 130 prints, films and original documents, mostly unpublished, viewers get an overview of the many facets of this iconic artist, for whom photography was a fascinating profession.The exhibition is on view at Jeu de Paume, 1 Place de la Concorde, 75008 Paris, France.
