“Something Amazing” a large scale public art project by British artist Stuart Semple will go live on September 1, 2016, simultaneously in six locations across the UK. The project has been commissioned by The Fertility Partnership. The large-scale installations will be unveiled in yet undisclosed locations over cities such as London, Glasgow, Chelmsford, Southampton, Oxford, and Nottingham. The artist promises to brighten up the mundane mornings of ordinary people encouraging them to stop, look, discover. The  project is aimed to raise awareness about the important work that 'The Fertility Partnership' has been carrying out and to encourage more egg donations at their clinics. The campaign looks to appeal to women to consider how it might feel to be infertile, or unable to conceive, and how they can change the lives of others by donating their eggs.Semple is known for his positive public art projects, particularly forthe project 'Happy Cloud' in which he released thousands of smiley faced clouds created from soap and helium. Launching them from Tate Modern, the clouds were seen across the London skyline as they moved towards the City. The project gains significance in the light of the fact that UK doesn’t have enough egg donors and a woman sometimes might have to wait up to two years for an egg.Click on the slideshow for a sneak peek of the installation.
