Centre Culturel Canadien presents a show by Dianne Bos (born 1956) entitled 'The Sleeping Green. No man's land one hundred years later' through September 8 2017 in Paris. The artist employs a line from British poet and soldier Isaac Rosenberg’s WWI poem 'Break of Day in the Trenches' for the title of the show. 'The Sleeping Green: no man’s land 100 years later' comprises extraordinary photographs taken in ‘no-man’s land’ between the trenches on the Western Front. Bos travelled through the battle sites in France and Belgium where Canadian soldiers fought. She then used a range of vintage and pinhole cameras, including a 100 year-old camera, to photograph the land, a century after the Great War.The show will be held at Centre Culturel Canadien, 5 Rue de Constantine, 75007 Paris, France. For details, visit: http://www.canada-culture.orgClick on the slideshow for a sneak peek of the exhibition.
