Matt Golden presents the exhibition titled “Bisons” from January 13, 2017 to February 11, 2017 at Limoncello Gallery. In “Bisons,” Matt presents ‘He Who Eats The Durian Smells of Durian’ (2017), a series of photographs documenting Juan Carlode’s travels in remote parts of the world where he immerses himself in unfamiliar territories. This is done in collaboration with Natsue Ikea and their daughter Nanaho. The resulting photographs have been showcased as standalone images in contemporary style magazines Wonderland and Rollacoaster. These 20 images are mounted on a vertical wooden stage that has been built from the floorboards of Golden’s studio, which itself was a venue for live music. Golden’s representation of a picture frame ‘Picture A Carving’ (2017) refers once again to how we frame our personal, historical or political narratives, how with enough one thing can ‘become’ another - a notion that is echoed throughout “Bisons.”The exhibition is on view at Unit 5, Huntingdon Industrial Estate, Ebor Street, London E1 6JU.For details, visit: www.limoncellogallery.co.ukClick on the slideshow for a sneak peek of the exhibition.  p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 17.0px Times} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 17.0px Times; min-height: 20.0px} span.s1 {font-kerning: none}
