Works of eight artists have been permanently installed in the outer spaces of Galerie Bruno Mory in Bonnay and are available to view. The structures dominate a vast panorama of the Romanesque Clunysois. Artists whose works are being presented include Mark di Suvero, Patrice Belin, Serge Landois, Zoran Mojsilov, Georges Meurdra, Richard Nonas, Jean-Patrice Rozand, and C.G. Simonds. These sculptures presented at Besanceuil emit an unusual energy. One finds especially a unique sense of the monumental that can come from the size of the sculpture, but even more of its density. Serge Landois’s works play on the ruptures of equilibrium which give a dynamic to the movement. If the outlines appear at first abstract, they often integrate human or animal forms in motion. While Zoran Mojsilov uses huge blocks of stone, regularly integrating the metal into his works, to link the different elements or enclose them in a kind of canvas. The structures are a valuable insight into all the featured artists’ practices. The installations are at Galerie Bruno Mory, Besanceuil F-71460 Bonnay.
