The solo exhibition titled “El Monte Perdido” presenting works of well-known Spanish photographer Cecilia de Val, at Camara Oscura Galeria de Arte, Madrid ends on December 30, 2016. It's your last opportunity to check out the recent works by one of the most seminal contemporary photographers. The exhibition brings to light a project that is experimental and post-photographic in nature and is persistent since two years. The endeavor manifests photographs captured at Monte Perdido, which are then exposed to a certain procedure of (un)development. The photographic destruction and fabrication of “new landscapes” attempt to profoundly reflect the meaning of images and inferences encompassed in the dematerialization of photography in the digital era.The exhibition is on view at Camara Oscura Galeria de Arte, c/ Alameda, 16, Madrid, MD ES, 28014, Spain. For details, visit: www.camaraoscura.netClick on the slideshow for the sneak peek of the exhibition.
