An exhibition of new work by Siobhán Hapaska opens at the Kerlin Gallery in Dublin on December 17, 2016 and runs through February 4, 2017.In her fourth solo show at the gallery and her first in five years, the artist presents a series of recent compositions based around her deep and enduring examination of the complexity and tenuousness of human relationships. Her kinetic installations and sculptures often articulate a sense of suspension, objects held in tension between powerful opposites. The use of concrete canvas and polycarbonate wall sheeting is predominant in the current exhibition, both materials developed for the architectural industry and appropriated by Hapaska to dramatic effect.“Siobhán Hapaska: Untitled” is on display at the Kerlin Gallery, Anne’s Lane, Dublin 2.For details, visit: www.kerlingallery.comClick on the slideshow for a sneak peek at the exhibition.
