An exhibition of recent paintings by Nate Geare titled “Deconstructivist Barnisms” is open at the Minna Gallery in San Francisco through December 30, 2016. In his new series, the native Arizonian artist explores the rural landscape of the American west through the lens of the Deconstructivist movement of the 1950s. He implements the unpredictability and controlled chaos the style characterizes to create a fictional account of what barns might look like if contemporary architects applied their innovative building techniques in agricultural communities and small towns. “Nate Geare: Deconstructivist Barnisms” is on display at 111 Minna Gallery, 111 Minna Street, San Francisco, California 94105 through December 30, 2016.
