Aurel Scheibler in Berlin is hosting an exhibition “Paperhouse” by Neil Gall through December 21, 2016.Presenting the artist’s third solo exhibition at the gallery, the exhibition features new paintings and paper collages representing Gall’s ongoing work arranging everyday objects like toys, Plasticine, cardboard, threads, and adhesive tape into mysterious and fanciful configurations. This current exhibition shows shift within the artist’s focus to pure color and form. The paintings play with the illusion of being cut-outs, appearing at first sight as large paper collages.
