An exhibition of provocative, large-scale installations by Monica Bonvicini is on display at the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art in Gateshead through February 26, 2017.The Italian artist examines the relationships between control, gender, environment, surveillance, architecture and power in a body of work that employs the use of video, drawing, photography, sculpture, text and performance to create art that is both architectural and intimate in scale.
