Kerlin Gallery, Dublin, presents the exhibition of new sculptures by artist Siobhán Hapaska from December 17, 2016 through February 4, 2017.The exhibition features installations created with the use of a new material called ‘concrete cloth,’ which is a concrete-infused canvas generally employed for developing emergency shelters. With the choice of material, the artist endeavors to draw attention to one of the most alarming contemporary challenges, the refugee crisis, arising out of war and natural disasters.
