Michel François’ ‘Instant Gratification’ at Bortolami Gallery, New York

Bortolami Gallery is hosting an exhibition of works from Michel François’ “Instant Gratification” series, along with works of three other artists, on view till December 22, 2016.Beautiful bronze sculptures from Michel François’ “Instant Gratification” series share space with Liz Larner’s ceramic wall sculptures and sculptures by Virginia Overton. Also on display are drawings by Tony Lewis who fabricates his site-specific floor by rubbing and suffusing sheets of painted paper with graphite powder. Virginia Overton sources and recycles objects and materials from exhibition sites or her family’s farm in Tennessee to create installations and sculptures that bare the traces of their spatial and functional history. In a separate exhibition in the second gallery room, Morgan Fisher’s film “Screening Room” is also being screened hourly.The exhibition is on view at, 520 West, 20th Street, New York, NY 10011, United States.
