A solo exhibition, titled 'Synchrony', showcasing three sets of creations, which include Synchrony (2016), The Remnant of Images (2013-now) and Related to Happiness (1999), crafted by renowned artist Hu Jieming is on view at ShanghART Beijing, through November 9, 2016.Acknowledged for working across a variety of mediums, ranging from photography, video, to digital interactive technology, Hu Jieming (b. 1957, Shanghai) is known to deftly probe the notions of space, time, history and memory. The current demonstration throws light on his newest large-scale digital synthesis video, “Synchrony”, which draws together people from diverse zones, eras, and social hierarchy, and brings into play image synthesis technology to set in motion their facial expressions and movements.The exhibition is on view at ShanghART Beijing | 260 Cao Chang Di, Old Airport Rd.
