An exhibition titled 'The Life Ecstatic', by artist Judith Schaechter, is on view at Claire Oliver Gallery, New York and will run through October 22, 2016.The artworks on display by the artist are ambiguous enough to handle multiple viewer interpretations. Schaechter’s interest in paradoxes of image-making and the tension between illusion and truth are very much evident through her work. She examines the notion that we can never gain the proper perspective necessary to measure our current situation and reality without completely disassociating ourselves through time or space.
