'A History of Violence' by Los Angeles-based artist Ellwood Risk is on view at Robert Berman Gallery, Santa Monica through October 8, 2016. The exhibition features many of the (LA and New York Times) front pages from shooting tragedies in years past and the present.The show comes in wake of the rising gun violence incidences in the US and how it has become a day to day reality. The Orlando mass shooting also forms a backdrop to the exhibition. This is Ellwood Risk's comment regarding the topic of gun violence in America.
