A seminal exhibition featuring the early works of acclaimed Brazilian artist, Lygia Pape (1927-2004), gets underway at Hauser & Wirth London on September 23. It will be on view through November 19, 2016. Pape, central to the Neo-Concrete movement (dedicated to the inclusion of art into everyday life), was known to establish a unique approach to abstraction. The exhibition will focus on her early Desenhos, Tecelares and later, iconic Ttéia installations and marks the gallery’s first presentation of the artist since beginning work with Projeto Lygia Pape earlier this year.The exhibition is on view at Hauser & Wirth London, 23 Savile Row London, W1S 2ET.
