The National Gallery of Victoria International Melbourne is hosting an exhibition of Edgar Degas artworks titled 'A New Vision', which will run through September 18, 2016.Known best for his association with French Impressionism, Degas created artworks for over fifty years with constant creativity. His oeuvre encompasses painting, drawing, printmaking, monotypes, sculpture and photography. Twentieth century life in Paris provided the legend with many ideas as motifs. Frequent motifs include scenes of work, industry and ballet and the theatre, racecourses and boudoirs. This stunning show brings together more than 200 works sourced from dozens of collections worldwide.
