The “Tasogare/Twilight (The Time of Moonlight, Sunlight and Starlight)” exhibition will be held at Winston Wächter Fine Art from September 8 through October 29, 2016, in Seattle.Through “Tasogare,” a representation of the Japanese word for twilight, Miya Ando pays homage to her Japanese heritage of sword-making and Buddhism, creating meditative landscapes on metal, using dye, urethane and resin. Ando has used these materials to create pieces that shift in the light and are constantly changing with each angle and viewer.
