Yoshitoshi’s famous series of work- “100 Views of the Moon” will be on display at the Ronin Gallery from 16th September, 2016 to 22nd October, 2016 in the city of New York.Yoshitoshi started working on this famous series in 1885. The paintings demonstrate ghost stories and folktales, graphic violence and serene beauty-all in the light of moon. Although the moon is not represented directly in all of the paintings, but the artist delivers the presence of it in each of his work through its gentle glow.
