Street art will feature prominently at Hang-Up Gallery’s summer exhibition, cheekily titled “Dog Days.”The gallery will present new artworks from 16 of its leading contemporary and urban artists including limited edition prints and original releases made exclusively for the show.The gallery will for the first time publish a limited edition release from David de La Mano made in conjunction with Brixton-based Hardground Printmakers to capture the work “El Hoyo.” The work features de La Mano’s signature mass of nondescript black figures, which swell and disperse across the canvas to reveal shapes and details. The print will be released in a limited edition of 50 on opening night.Other artists in the show include contemporary London-based artists Dave White who specializes in Pop art, Delphine Lebourgeois who often depicts groups of people in her work, and photographer David Schienmann. Collage artists Oddly Head and Joe Webb will also be on view alongside internationally acclaimed artists Harland Miller and Takashi Murakami.Hang-Up Gallery’s summer show “Dog Days” will be on view from July 24-September 27 in London’s Stoke Newington.
