Delfina Foundation Announces First Selling Exhibition

The Delfina Foundation, London’s largest international host and provider of international residencies, is staging a selling exhibition this October to raise funds to support the next generation of artists. Titled “Then for Now,” the exhibition will offer works donated by acclaimed artists who were supported by Delfina at early stages of their career, including the likes of Tacita Dean, Mark Wallinger, Eva Rothschild, Chantal Joffe, and Anya Gallaccio, to name a few.“Then for Now” is curated by London-based artist Chantal Joffe and curator-critic Sacha Craddock and will run from October 9 to November 14 at the Foundation’s central London space. The exhibition will launch with a series of events and talks focusing on the global trends and transitions that have taken place since Delfina Studio Trust was established 30 years ago.Aaron Cezar, founding director of Delfina Foundation, said: “We are a family, in which one generation helps the next. Then for Now will enable us to continue defining the future of contemporary art. Each year, we support nearly 50 British and international through our programmes. In an environment where artists are finding it increasingly difficult, Delfina Foundation’s work remains vital.”Participating artists include: Anna Barriball, Simon Bill, Ian Dawson, Tacita Dean, Ceal Floyer, Anya Gallaccio, Lucy Gunning, Chantal Joffe, Margherita Manzelli, Ishbel Myerscough, Danny Rolph, Eva Rothschild, Mark Titchner, Mark Wallinger, Martin Westwood, Jane & Louise Wilson, Richard Woods and more....
