Many claim that just absorbing art is peaceful. There are some artifacts, like a painting, looking at which can be appeasing. Therefore, Art Life Gallery has put together a group show to emphasize on harmony and peace which they believe “is much needed in today’s world”. Titled “Summer Harmony,” the exhibition is on display from May 6- 23 in the gallery itself.“Everybody desires peace, harmony and balance, forming comfortable life for themselves and their loved ones. Quite often, it is dependent on their environmental conditions. Every person has a different meaning of peace and harmony. People living in a conflict zone want to be away from bloodshed; persons living in abusive relationships, look for harmonious relationships,” says Pratibha Agarwal, co-promoter of the Art Life Gallery while looking at H. Rehman’s painting.The gallery known for its endeavor to promote young artists is exhibiting the works of six aspiring ones namely Dr. Garima rani, Bhaskar Singha, Shivani Sharma, H Rehman, Sangeeta Singh and Dr Chandrawati Kumari. All their paintings are themed on serenity and contentment. “Art is the best form of diplomacy that can bring harmony in any state or state of mind,” says Kolkata-based artist, Bhaskar Singha.-“Summer Harmony” is on view at Art Life Gallery, C-97, Sector-44, Noida till May 23.Follow @ARTINFOIndia
