Yuka Tsuruno Gallery is currently hosting a solo exhibition by Tetsuro Kano (born 1980) titled "A tree as a City," which will continue to run through February 25, 2017.This is the first solo exhibition by the artist in three years. On display are a selection of sculptures and drawings, with a focus on the New Plants series that explores the perception of plants by birds, other small animals, insects and microorganism. The artist draws upon the landmark text and its idea that a city is shaped over time rather than rigidly planned and created, and portrays the sentiment in a range of drawings and sculptures.
