Semiose Galerie presents an exhibition by the Berlin-based sculptor Stefan Rinck (born 1973). The show will run through February 25, 2017 in Paris. The artist sculpts animal-like sculptures made of sandstone that seem to come from the medieval era when people were scared off by the animals. Today however, Rinck puts them on pedestals or upon the floor in unique military formations alongside human generals. He re-endues them with their demonic traits and potentials, which have been crushed under the modern condition. The exhibition is on view at Semiose Galerie, 54 Rue Chapon, 75003 Paris, France.
