The exhibition “Spray On” by Marilyn Minter at Carolina Nitsch Project Room in New York will end on January 20, 2017. This is your last opportunity to check out the works of this Louisiana born New York based painter and photographer at the gallery. The exhibition presents artist Marilyn Minter for the first time at the gallery, featuring her recent series of works. The project is composed of five new works, each printed with UV stable acrylic polymer on 30 x 24 x 1 inch aluminium panels. For this series, the artist has photographed a model with a steamed pane of glass as a semi-transparent curtain between the camera and the subject. Printed on aluminium panels, the prints take on a sculptural permanence as the lustrous surface pushes the subject further into translucent ether. The exhibition is on view at Carolina Nitsch Project Room, 534 West 22nd Street, New York, NY 10011, USA.For details, visit: http://carolinanitsch.com/Click on the slideshow for a sneak peek of the exhibition.
