Ben Brown Fine Arts, Hong Kong, presents the exhibition, 'Metachromes', by celebrated artist Vik Muniz from January 18 to March 11, 2017.This is Muniz’s third solo exhibition with the gallery and feature his most recent series, 'Metachrome', along with works from his renowned series, 'Pictures of Pigment'.The works displayed are constructed of sticks, stubs, fragments and dust of pastel sticks deftly arranged to re-imagine iconic paintings, forcing the viewer to move beyond the instantaneous recognition of such masterpieces and explore the materiality, chromatic range and painterly process of these works.The exhibition will be on view at Ben Brown Fine Arts, 303 Pedder Building, 12 Pedder Street, Central, Hong Kong.
