A solo exhibition by Pavel Pepperstein, titled 'A History of Futuristic Hallucinations', is currently on view at Spazio 22, Milan, through January 14, 2017.The exhibition features a series of works, where various characters of the past (saints, slaves, Neanderthals, ancient Roman senators, Indian and Buddhist ascetics, highly placed women of the nineteenth century, the general of the British colonies, cosmologists Russians, prostitutes, monks, kings and so on ) are depicted in disturbing moments of their life when a vision of the distant future opens before them. The exhibition is dedicated to the links between different eras, between the past and future dates - reports the use of hallucinatory potential of human consciousness.
