Last chance to see set of works by one of the most famous artists of the 20th century, Antoni Tàpies, on display at Laurentin Galerie, Paris. The exhibition ends December 20, 2016.The artist has never before enjoyed a monographic exhibition in a gallery in Belgium. A painter, sculptor, essayist and theorist of art, Antoni Tàpies was part of the Spanish avant-garde and created a new language in the visual arts. Exhibited in the world's greatest museums, Tàpies' work is associated with other great names in 20th-century art, such as Joan Miro and Salvador Dali, who are also Catalan. The artist has gained international recognition thanks to works with astonishing compositions, sometimes made of materials of recovery.
