The Galeria Hilario Galgurea hosts a group exhibition, “Wirikuta (Mexican Time-slip),” that will be on display through April 30, 2017.Wirikuta is the name of the sacred site where the world has been created, according to the Huichol mythology. The subtitle, Mexican Time-slip, alludes to Philip K. Dick’s novel, Martian Time-Slip. The name of the exhibition alludes to the existence of the parallel worlds that the exhibition represents. It shows contemporary art as the anticipation of a new nature, mixing any kind of forms and formations, confronting the human sphere and the world of matter and objects. It functions as a cinematic travel on a huge landscape made of videos, paintings and sculpturesThe exhibition is curated by Nicolás Bourriaud and presents the work of Peter Buggenhout, Carsten Höller, Pascale Marthine Tayou, Marlie Mul, Philippe Parreno, Laure Provoust, Pamela Rosenkranz and Bosco Sodi.  “Wirikuta (Mexican Time-slip)” will be on display through April 30, 2017, at the Galería Hilario Galguera, Calle Francisco Pimentel 3, San Rafael, 06470 Ciudad de México, CDMX, Mexico. For details, visit: http://www.galeriahilariogalguera.com/Click on the slideshow for a sneak peek of the exhibition.
