The ongoing Ian Hamilton Finlay solo exhibition “Et in Arcadia Ego” at Kewenig Galerie in Berlin ends on December 17, 2016. It’s your last opportunity to check out the artist’s works spanning the past 50 years.Ten years after the death of the Scottish poet and conceptual artist, the exhibition presents the work of Ian Hamilton Finlay from the 1960s onwards including prints, sculptures and text-based works. The show presents the sculptural works “Cubes” (1987), “Capital” (1989), and “A / or, Unit, Signs” (1989) on the gallery's ground floor and in its garden. The neon work “Je Vous Salue Marat” is on display on the first floor of the exhibition gallery. Images and words combine with elements from nature, art and cultural history to exemplify the interdependence between visual depiction and the meaning of the written word. The exhibition is on view at Kewenig Galerie, Brüderstraße 10, 10178 Berlin, Germany. For details, visit: www.kewenig.com/Click on the slideshow for a sneak peak of the exhibition
