An exhibition of work by Virginia Jaramillo titled “Where the Heavens Touch the Earth” will go on display at the Hales Gallery in London between January 20, 2017 and March 4, 2017.The show marks the artist’s solo debut at the gallery as well as her first one-woman exhibition outside of the United States, presenting a series of work that produced between 1970 and the end of the decade. It includes a collection called “Visual Theorems” made from natural linen fibers and pigments, an example of her ability to coalesce traditionally separate mediums to comment on the tangible materiality of the objects themselves.“Virginia Jaramillo: Where the Heavens Touch the Earth” is on show at the Hales Gallery, Tea Building, 7 Bethnal Green Road, London E1 6LA .For details, visit: www.halesgallery.comClick on the slideshow for a sneak peek of the artist’s previous works
