Experimental American composer and artist John Cage's exhibition, titled 'Lecture on the Weather', is on view at the Frith Street Gallery in London through December 17, 2016.As a lead-into the 2016 presidential election, the John Cage Trust and the Frith Street Gallery presents the original texts from 1975 outlining the performance of 'Lecture on the Weather' alongside early prints inspired by Thoreau, whose influence is apparent in much of Cage’s work. Curated by Jeremy Millar, the show is presented in a new installation based on material gathered at a recital of the piece at Bard College in 2007, a production that featured a cast of world-renowned artists including as Jasper Johns, John Ralston Saul and Merce Cunningham. It made its European debut in London in September of 2016. The exhibition is on view at the Frith Street Gallery, 17-18 Golden Square, Soho, London W1F9JJ through December 17, 2016.
