Artworks by street artist Alberto Vijarano, also known as Chanoir, are on display at Artjingle Gallery until December 20, 2016.Alberto Vijarano, born in Bogotá and raised in Paris, uses cartoon-like visuals and innocent themes to portray the ever-evolving global culture in a merry and humorous manner. In 1996, he was involved in the post-graffiti Parisian culture, creating the Chanoir persona. The systematic transformation of his logo was invented by him. He is best known for his eponymous cat character Cha, that later became his signature. CHA is shown here indulged in a blend of a wide range of colours, symbolising not only the state of today’s global culture, but also a blend of the various ideas and emotions that people now share across nations and boundaries. The exhibition is on view at Artjingle Gallery, 31 bis, rue des Tournelles, 75003 Paris, France. For details, visit: http://www.artjingle.com/contemporary/en/expositions/chanoir-107.html#chanoirClick on the slideshow for a sneak peek at the exhibition.
