Anglim Gilbert Gallery is hosting an exhibition of works of artist Dean Smith, on view from December 7, 2016 till January 14, 2017.Oakland-born Smith, recipient of Fellowship Award for the Visual Arts, California Arts Council, and a host of exhibitions to his credit, produces drawings that are abstract, yet make reference to organic growth and the representation of three-dimensional space. His work comprising delicate compositions made up of tiny lines, so fine and perfectly regimented in their repetition that it seems impossible that they have been produced by hand.
