Nature Morte is hosting an exhibition “Regarding Embodiment” by two artists, Naiza Khan and Manisha Parekh, which will run through December 17, 2016.Naiza Khan and Manisha Parekh work independently of each other but their unorthodox approach to materials and art brings them together. Through their works, different mediums of art including painting, drawing, collage, printmaking and sculpture, intermingle and converse in the same space.Naiza Khan lives and works in London. Her works are inspired by the landscapes on the outskirts of urban areas. However, she mostly focuses on modern ruins and pilling debris that form a central theme in her works.Manisha Parekh lives and works in Delhi and has worked with a number of unorthodox materials such as ink or graphite on paper, rice paper and even jute strings. In her works, she often blends abstract art and science that may serve as templates for physiologies.“Regarding Embodiment” is on view through December 17, 2017 at Nature Morte, Block A, Neeti Bagh, DelhiFor details, visit: http://naturemorte.com/Click on the slideshow for a sneak peak of the exhibition
