'Fireworks in my Closet', a solo exhibition presenting the newest works of acclaimed artist Sislej Xhafa, is on view at Galleria Continua, San Gimignano, and will run through January 15, 2017. Sislej Xhafa is acknowledged for working across a variety of media ranging from sculpture, drawing, and photography to performance art and video. Best known to take motivation from the complexity and contradictions of actuality, the artist’s current demonstration displays artworks that largely vary from each other, yet ironically bring out the themes of migration, identity, marginalization, violence in politics and society, questioning the complexity, unity and diversity of our modern society.The exhibition is on view at Galleria Continua, Via del Castello, 11, 53037 San Gimignano SI, Italy.
