“Rope Maker”, a new exhibition by artist Tom Leamon, will run through October 9, 2016, at Frameless Gallery, London.Created over the past two years at the Beekeeper’s Artist Residence in Algarve, Portugal, the display is a collection of new, selected works that bear witness to Leamon’s attempt to face down his demons, and his search for true identity, both as a painter and as a man.The title of the exhibition itself is an analogy to rope and life. The paintings also trace the artist’s departure from central London to an olive grove in rural Portugal, questioning how he lived and where.
