White Cube Mason’s yard, London will host an exhibition featuring the first works of artist Jannis Kounellis, which will run through October 29, 2016.Jannis Kounellis was born in Piraeus, Greece in 1936 but moved to Rome in 1956, where he still lives and works. This exhibition mainly comprises of the artist’s very first works on paper and painting named the ‘Alfabeto.’ Playing with letters, signs and numbers in these paintings, the artist creates a new visual language.
