Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac, Salzburg, is hosting Robert Mapplethorpe's exhibition, titled 'Objects', through November 19, 2016.The exhibition features Mapplethorpe's a famous fascinating self-portrait from 1983, where he is represented as a youth with bony nubs of satyr’s horns protruding from his curly mop of hair. The self-protrait has been used as the cover of an elegant French-English edition of Rimbaud's poems A Season in Hell, illustrated with photographs by Mapplethorpe.
