Eskenazi in London will be hosting an exhibition of early Chinese art which will be on view from November 3 through November 25, 2016.The autumn exhibition of the gallery will present 24 works of early Chinese art from private collections, highlighting the creative brilliance of the artisans over a 2500 years period, from the late Neolithic era (circa 2000 BC) to the Tang dynasty (618 AD-907AD). The exhibition will include a number of highly important works in bronze, gold, silver, jade and bone. The majority of the pieces in the exhibition are decorated with animal motifs, including dragons, bears, birds and other beasts, both stylized and naturalistic.
