The exhibition titled "NETHERWORLDS" will be on view at the Firstdraft Gallery, New South Wales, Australia, from October 5 through October 29, 2016. "NETHERWORLDS" looks upon the theories of early performance as invocational ritual, and prehistoric art as sympathetic magic. Reflecting on the intertwined history of art and magic and emergent queer and feminist pagan practices, the exhibition opens dark and powerful spaces. “NETHERWORLDS” exhibits works by artists Naomi Blacklock, Anastasia Booth, Caitlin Franzman, Blake Lawrence Clay Kerrigan and Chantal Fraser and curated by Amy-claire McCarthy and Kieran Swann.
