An group exhibition titled 'Protest' will be on view at the Victorio Miro, London from September 23 through November 5, 2016.The exhibition is comprised of historical and contemporary works by 16 artists addressing the socio-political scenarios of their time, questioning the power structure found within the society. The exhibition will bring forward historical and recent works in reference to issues like migration, censorship, struggles for equality and democracy. These works, through image composition, gesture, material, form or concepts, serve as meditations on contemporary issues and appeals for action- inspiring consideration of possibilities for a life of freedom and unity, an effort towards human rights, and continued interaction around the immediate social and political issues which confront the global community.The exhibition will be on view at Victoria Miro Gallery, 16 Wharf Rd, London N1 7RW, United Kingdom.
