Tang Contemporary Art in Beijing is hosting a solo exhibition of Chinese conceptual artist Zhao Zhao from September 3 through October 22, 2016. This show is Zhao Zhao's most important solo exhibition of the last decade as its presents three brand new works namely Project Taklamakan, Suit, and Knife. These pieces represent the artist’s struggles, self-torment and battles, as well as industry intervention and advancement that took place over the last ten years. Yengisar knives are named after the place they come from. Cui Cancan, an active Chinese independent curator is the main curator of the show. Click on the slideshow for a sneak peak at the exhibition.
