Galerie Georges-Philippe & Nathalie Vallois, Paris, presents an exhibition of the works of Swiss painter and sculptor Jean Tinguely that will run from September 9 through October 29. Titled "60's," the exhibition marks the 25th anniversary of Jean Tinguely (1925 - 1991), and pays rich tribute to one of the major artists of 20th century Europe. The gallery will showcase an excellent group of 15 sculptures and mechanical reliefs from the decade of 1960s. As a major retrospective,“60s” is so far the only French exhibition to be completely dedicated to Tinguely this year to mark the anniversary.Tinguely had earned a name in the niche category of kinetic art or sculptural machines, in the Dada tradition, which are officially known as metamechanics.
