Sotheby’s presents “Selection from the Collection of Barbara (B.Z) and Michael Schwartz” from 19th July, 2016 till 1st September, 2016 in the city of New York.The exhibition pays homage to the great art collectors since 1980, Michael Schwartz and his wife Barbara (B.Z), and presents selective items from their enviable collection on display. Unlike their peers, the Schwartz couple burst into the scene of art as collectors in 1980. They made career long commitments to some of the most important American Contemporary artists- Ross Bleckner, Carroll Dunham, Jack Goldstein, Peter Halley, Jeff Koons and Richard Prince, whose works is on display in the exhibition.
