Serpentine’s Autumn Program Includes New Digital Commission

London’s Serpentine Galleries will launch its third digital commission on September 29, 2016 as part of its autumn exhibition program, which also includes major solo exhibitions dedicated to the work of Marc Camille Chaimowicz and Helen Marten.The new digital commission by British artist and writer James Bridle will be an online platform titled “Cloud Atlas” that investigates the many different facets of the term ‘cloud’ and its association with conspiracy fears, climate change, mystical tradition, and the history of weather.“Helen Marten: Drunk Brown House” at the Serpentine Sackler Gallery will bring together new and existing work by the London-based artist in a site-specific installation that exemplifies the power of the ambiguity and eclecticism that characterizes her disparate sculptural assemblages.“An Autumn Lexicon” is the title of a major exhibition at Serpentine Gallery that will span the career of the Paris-born London-based artist Marc Camille Chaimowicz whose multidisciplinary practice explores the space between art and design, the private and the public.More information on the Serpentine’s autumn program here.
